Beacons alternatives for UGC creators

Beacons is a link in bio, store, email tool and media kit in one, with a free plan. These are the alternatives worth a look if you mainly need a portfolio, a media kit or a way to get paid for brand deals, with what each costs and where Beacons is still the better pick.

What Beacons gives you

Beacons’ free plan includes a link in bio, a "daily-updating media kit", a store for digital products, affiliate links and 50 email sends a month. Its help center describes the media kit as "a one-page digital resume" that pulls live stats from your connected accounts, and the core media kit is free. It also has a free invoicing tool that takes payment by PayPal, Stripe or bank account.

Beacons planMonthlyBilled yearlySeller / transaction feeEmail sends
Free$0 ("free forever")—9%50 a month
Creator$10$100 ($8.33/mo)9%500 a month
Creator Plus$30$300 ($25/mo)0%Unlimited
Creator Max$100$1,000 ($83.30/mo)0%Unlimited

Reasons you might look elsewhere

  • The 9% fee. Free and Creator plans carry a 9% seller fee; it drops to 0% only from Creator Plus at $30 a month.
  • A custom media kit domain is paid. Beacons’ help center calls it a Pro feature; the pricing page lists a free custom domain from the Creator plan.
  • It does a lot. If you only want a portfolio and a media kit, the store, courses and email tools are weight you carry.

Passionfroot

The closest match for brand deals. The creator side is free, the storefront is a media kit with live stats, rates, booking forms and scheduling, and Passionfroot generates the invoices. Its help center says it charges you nothing on deals you source yourself. It is built around B2B brands (tech, SaaS, AI, finance). Collabstr

A marketplace rather than a portfolio tool: you list packages for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and UGC, brands buy them, and Collabstr holds the payment until the order is complete. There is no up-front cost; it takes 15% when you make a sale. See the Collabstr review.

Canva

Canva lists 430 media kit templates you can customize and download, and Canva Websites publish free on a my.canva.site address (up to five live sites on the free plan). The numbers are whatever you type in, so they go stale. See Canva alternatives.

Notion

Notion’s free plan can publish a page to the web, and its template gallery has UGC portfolio templates from free to $79. A custom domain costs $8 a month per domain billed yearly, or $10 monthly.

Stan Store

If what you liked about Beacons was the store, Stan is the usual comparison: $29 a month for Creator, $99 for Creator Pro, no free plan. Its help articles we read cover products, courses, memberships and bookings, not media kits or brand deals. See Beacons vs Stan Store.

Where UGC Creator Portfolio fits

UGC Creator Portfolio today is free calculators, templates and guides: a UGC rate calculator with usage rights, whitelisting and rush fees, an influencer pricing calculator, money and engagement calculators, a media kit template, contract, proposal, pitch and invoice templates. No account needed, and every benchmark links to its source.

What we don't have yet: a hosted portfolio or media kit page, live follower stats, invoicing or payments. Those are the next build; the early-access list below gets an email when they open.

Who should stay on Beacons

  • You want one link for everything: bio links, a store, email and the media kit.
  • You want a media kit that updates itself from your connected accounts, free.
  • You sell digital products or courses and can justify Creator Plus to drop the 9% fee.
