Brand pitch email templates
A pitch email has one job: get a reply. Keep it under 150 words, make one specific offer, and link to your portfolio instead of attaching files.
Before you send
- Find a named person: the brand’s partnerships, influencer or social media manager. A general inbox is a last resort.
- Watch the brand’s current ads and say which kind of video you would make for them.
- Have a portfolio link ready. Three strong samples beat ten average ones.
- Know your price before they ask. Use the UGC rate calculator.

What gets a reply
- A subject line with the brand’s name and a specific idea.
- One clear ask: "Can I send a quote?" is easier to answer than "Let me know if you’re interested".
- A real result from past work, even a small one.
- Two follow-ups at most, a week apart.

Questions creators ask
+How long should a pitch email be?
Under 150 words. One idea, one proof point, one link and one question.
+Should I attach my media kit?
Link to it instead. Attachments get caught by filters and a link lets the brand see your latest numbers.
+How many times should I follow up?
Twice, about a week apart. After that, move on and pitch again when the brand launches something new.
