Collabstr review for creators: fees, payouts and who it suits

Collabstr is a marketplace: you list packages, brands buy them, and Collabstr holds the money until the work is done. This review covers what it costs creators, how you get paid and what brands pay, from Collabstr’s own pages. No stars: we only report what Collabstr publishes.

How it works for creators

  1. Make a page and list your services for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and UGC.
  2. Share your link; brands find you on the marketplace or through your link and buy a package, or send a custom offer.
  3. You have 72 hours to accept an order, and you can decline any order.
  4. Collabstr holds the brand’s payment until the order is complete. After you submit the work, the brand has up to 72 hours to ask for a revision or open a dispute.
  5. You’re paid out through Dots, with 5+ methods including PayPal, Cash App and Venmo.

What it costs

Who paysWhatAmount
CreatorUp-front costNone
CreatorFee on each sale15% of your payout
Brand, Free planHiring fee10% per order
Brand, ProSubscription$249/mo billed annually (10% fee)
Brand, PremiumSubscription$333/mo billed annually (5% fee)
Brand, Enterprise / AgencySubscriptionFrom $1,000/mo billed annually

So on a $500 package you keep $425 after Collabstr’s 15%. The brand’s own 10% (or 5% on Premium) is a separate fee, shown to the brand before it confirms the order.

What we like

  • Payment is held before you start. Collabstr collects from the brand and holds it until the order is complete.
  • No contracts with Collabstr. It says it is a self-serve platform, not an agency.
  • Its rate data is public. Collabstr’s 2026 Influencer Marketing Report is one of the sources behind our influencer pricing calculator.

What to weigh

  • 15% is a real cut on work a brand found through your own link, not only on marketplace leads.
  • It supports over 35 countries. Check the list on Collabstr before you set up.
  • Brands compare you side by side with other creators on price, so price your packages with usage rights in mind: see UGC usage rights explained.

Who Collabstr suits

  • Newer UGC creators who want brands to find them and want the payment held up front.
  • Creators selling standard packages (one video, one post) rather than custom, negotiated deals.

If you’d rather keep the full fee on deals you find yourself, compare a portfolio tool instead: best UGC portfolio websites and Passionfroot alternatives. Price a package first with the UGC rate calculator.

What we don't have yet: a hosted portfolio or media kit page, live follower stats, invoicing or payments. Those are the next build; the early-access list below gets an email when they open.
