# Sponsorship proposal template

A brand reads a proposal to answer three questions: who watches you, what they get, and what it costs. This one answers them on a single page, in that order.

## What goes in a sponsorship proposal

1. **A one-line pitch.** What the partnership is, for this brand, in one sentence.
2. **Your audience.** Platform, followers, average views, engagement rate, and who they are (age, location, interests) from your own analytics.
3. **Why this brand.** One or two reasons your audience already wants what they sell. Specific beats flattering.
4. **The deliverables.** Exactly what you make: format, length, number of posts, posting dates.
5. **Usage and extras.** Whether they can run it as an ad, for how long, and any whitelisting or exclusivity.
6. **The price.** A total, with each paid add-on on its own line. Brands compare line items.
7. **Proof.** Two or three past results or sample links.
8. **Next step.** A date and a single question they can say yes to.

## What to leave out

- Your life story. One line of background is plenty.
- Follower counts without views or engagement. Brands buy attention, not a number on a profile.
- A vague price ("rates on request"). A clear number with line items gets a counter-offer instead of silence.
- More than one page. Link to your media kit for the rest.

## Questions creators ask

### How long should a sponsorship proposal be?

One page. Put the audience numbers, the deliverables and the price on that page and link to your media kit for everything else.

### Should I put my rates in the proposal?

Yes, as a total with each paid add-on on its own line. A specific number gets a reply or a counter-offer; "rates on request" usually gets neither.

### What is the difference between a proposal and a media kit?

A media kit is the same for every brand: who you are, your audience and your stats. A proposal is written for one brand and one campaign, with deliverables and a price.
